We Purchase WW2 Militaria

We Purchase WW2 Militaria

We purchase WW2 militaria.  Here we have an update to our Canadian DDay Veteran award haul We were lucky enough through respected US Militaria dealer Dave Wyatt to find a near mint SS 25 year service medal which perfectly matches the case and ribbon that we already had..A beautiful set even if we say so ourselves..
Also here are 3 nice blades we just purchased from the Granddaughter of a US Veteran from PA.
Further Vet details will be added at a later date.
A very nice condition early SA dagger from a rare maker we haven't seen before
Gottfried Muller of Herges-Vogtel .It's complete with its hanging strap and belt loop.
Also included were 2 , So Called Lionhead swords complete with their red glass eyes still intact.
1 is a Weimar- WW2 period Heer Cavalry model with crossed swords on the langlet by the maker of Clemens and Jung.

The other much more detailed sword is by Anton Wingen Jr and is classed as unattributed in John.R.Angolias excellent book on swords of Germany.
This has a shirt winged eagle and another lions head at the end of the crossguard,  its hard chiselled finish truly exhibits German craftsmanship at it's finest.
Several sword collectors say that this type of sword could be related to the Zollbeamter..German Customs
Perhaps they are correct, whomever it was for it's very aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

And Lastly another nice and rare item is an 800 Silver Flower vase made by the prestigious firm of Bruckmann for the Deutsches Reichsbahn..
This particular vase is stamped 205 alongside the German silver hallmarks.
205 denotes the Herman Goering family wagon on his Sonderzug which was only used by himself, his wife and their daughter
It is in uncleaned condition and would clean up beautifully,  but we will leave as is.
