This is the number one question we receive. The answer is, yes. More times than not, sellers come back to buyandsellwwii.com because we did offer more money. When selling your WW2 items, rest assured you will receive a fair price and the peace of mind that the WW2 items will be preserved.
If you have researched, you will see there are hundreds of WW2 sites to choose from. So why choose this site? First, I really do pay a fair price when you sell WWII items. Don’t believe it? Compare our offers with competitors. Second, I focus more on collecting than selling. Most sites focus on selling hundreds of items at a time. Theres nothing wrong with that, but I dont run this website for financial reasons. I do it because I value the historic significance of each item and I like collecting. Third, I am a social studies teacher and I bring many items to school throughout the school year. There is nothing like a hands on experience to bring home the importance of history to kids.
Yes, I really am. This is my twenty second year of teaching. If you would like references, please contact me. This brings up a good point. Many collectors claim to be war veterans, teachers, museum curators, people of influence, etc… They do this, to pull at the heart strings of the seller. They make it sound like they are going to have a lot of people see your items and that they are going to use your WWII items for educational or historical purposes. In reality, they are working every angle to buy your WWII items. Unless your a collector, you don’t realize how much competition there is in this hobby. BE SMART. YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE AT SELLING YOUR WWII ITEMS. DON’T REGRET SELLING TO THE WRONG INDIVIDUAL. MAKE SURE THE PEOPLE YOU ARE SELLING TO ARE WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE.
When you sell WWII items, payments are sent through paypal. If you dont have paypal, other arrangements can be made such as a postal money order or western union transfer.
When you sell WWII guns, they must be shipped through a licensed FFL dealer. To ship, you must take your WWII gun to a firearms dealer. Call before you go because some don’t do it. Once there, you fill out some paperwork and it is shipped. Not complicated and all fees are taken care of on my end.
When selling WW2 items, funds will be sent either by Venmo, Cashapp, WU, check or by postal money order. Which ever you prefer. We try and make easy and hassle free.
It is possible and I have done it before, but would need to get the item in hand first.
Civil helmets are not as desired by collectors as they were used by police, fire departments, air raid, and various non combat organizations. Collectors want true battlefield artifacts.
