WWII German SS Trapezoid Cap
An unissued SS cap found at the Dachau warehouse. It was brought back with other WWII SS military items. The unissued condition — found at a warehouse rather than on a soldier — makes this a particularly unusual piece of documentation.
The SS trapezoid cap (Einheitsmütze) is among the most historically significant and carefully documented pieces of WW2 German headgear. Items recovered from Dachau carry an additional layer of historical weight that goes beyond their physical characteristics.
This item is preserved as a primary historical artifact. The historical disclaimer below applies: this piece is presented for its documentary and historical value, not as an endorsement of the ideology or organization it represents.
