WW2 German Signal Flare Pistols

A collection of WW2 German signal flare pistols (Leuchtpistole) used for battlefield signaling and illumination. These distinctive single-shot pistols were standard issue across all branches of the Wehrmacht.

The Leuchtpistole fired colored flares to communicate between units, mark positions, and signal aircraft. Multiple variants were produced throughout the war by different manufacturers.

These examples show the range of wartime production, from early high-quality pieces to later simplified utility models. All are preserved as historical artifacts.
