WWII DD German Heer M35 Helmet

Personal collection — not for sale

A very nice DD Heer M35 German helmet. 'DD' stands for double decal — the most prized configuration of German WW2 combat helmets. This example carries both the Heer eagle on the right side and the tri-colour national shield on the left, both in excellent condition.

Double decal helmets command a significant premium over single decal examples because the left-side shield decal was discontinued early in the war — most helmets encountered today have lost it to field wear, repainting, or deliberate removal. A DD example with both decals crisp and intact is a genuine find.

This M35 is photographed from multiple angles to document the eagle decal, the shield decal, and the tri-colour detail — the full picture of what makes a DD helmet so desirable to serious collectors.
