WWII Luftwaffe M40 Helmet with Great Decal

A WWII Luftwaffe M40 helmet with an exceptional eagle decal — sharp, well-adhered, and showing strong colour retention. This is the combination collectors look for: a solid M40 shell paired with a decal that is genuinely impressive rather than merely present.

The difference between a "good" decal and a "great" decal is significant in the market. A good decal is present and legible; a great decal retains its original colour, shows crisp detail in the eagle's feathers and talons, and sits flat against the shell without lifting or bubbling. This example falls into the latter category.

For collectors who want a Luftwaffe M40 that displays well and holds its value, the decal quality is the primary consideration. This example delivers on that front — a great decal on a solid shell.
