USS Arizona Liberty Card and Token

Part of the personal collection — not for sale

This is a genuine USS Arizona liberty card and token — personal effects belonging to a sailor who served aboard the USS Arizona before the ship's destruction at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Liberty cards were issued to sailors to authorize shore leave, and the accompanying token was used at port facilities.

The USS Arizona is one of the most hallowed names in American naval history. When Japanese aircraft attacked Pearl Harbor, the Arizona was struck by an armor-piercing bomb that detonated her forward ammunition magazine, causing a catastrophic explosion that killed 1,177 of her crew — nearly half of all American deaths at Pearl Harbor. The wreck remains a war grave and national memorial to this day.

Personal effects connected to the USS Arizona are among the most historically significant pieces of American WW2 memorabilia. This liberty card and token represent a direct, tangible link to a sailor who served on one of the most famous ships in American history.
